Out of Hours Service

Between 18:30 and 08:00 Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on bank holidays your call will be redirected to the NHS 111 service.

NHS 111

NHS 111 offers free expert health information and advice 24 hours a day on 111 (calls are free from land lines and mobiles). NHS 111 will also refer calls to our “out of hours” provider, Barndoc between 18:30 and 08:00 weekdays and all day at weekends and public holidays.

GP extended access hubs

If you need to see a doctor or nurse for either routine problems or urgently, you can book an appointment at the local GP Access Hub based at Evergreen Surgery.

The Access Hub is open Monday to Friday 18:30 to 20:00 and Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays 08:00 to 20:00.

Appointments can be made via the practice directly or by calling NHS 111.

Accident and Emergency/999

Whatever the day or time, if you or someone else experiences severe chest pain, loss of blood or suspected broken bones, go to your nearest accident and emergency department or call 999. Accident and emergency departments are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and can assess serious injuries and provide emergency treatment.
